Drag racing in need for speed has been the most difficult kind of racing for me.I can’t get it!The tutorial in NFS Most Wanted doesn’t really explain how exactly should I use the controls.My uncle says the transmission in DRAG Racing is manual and it’s all about timing and shifting gears.Can you please tell me the things I have to do to win this?I mean can you please give me clear and easy to follow instructions.You’re response to this question will highly be appreciated.

hit the gas, make sure the tach (the guage on the left side of the screen) stays just below the red, this is engine speed-red is bad. the shift arrow (blue/green) appears in the middle of the screen, tells you when to shift. blue is a ‘good’ shift, green is a ‘perfect’ shift. as i’m sure you’ve found out, the green is VERY short, and if you miss it, you blow. when using nos you’ll have to kinda keep an eye on the tach to make sure you don’t redline. it’s alot to watch, but it gets easier. most drag -style racing is stick, in the nfs series anyway. good luck
ps to smokey- i used to streetrace a daytona w/ a 3.0 v6 and a 5 speed, man i loved taking money from them boys w 5.0 autos
